After successfully beta testing the Mini 4.6k on his short, “Bounty Hunter”, ShareGrid member, Lukas Colombo, joined forces with Blackmagic Design on an original cinematic short film designed to further showcase the new 4.6k sensor in a variety of conditions.

With NAB just around the corner Lukas and his team quickly drafted up an exciting narrative script and assembled a crew. In 1 single day day of shooting, they managed to shoot an action/adventure/romance pirate movie complete with sword fights, boats, and treasure maps!

Lukas shot with the URSA Mini 4.6k on a drone, on the ground with the DJI Ronin gimbal, on a Moai Tetna Dolly, tripods and on handheld rigs. They used it in a variety of lighting conditions…from harsh noon sun…to beautiful golden hour …to low light interior night set ups.

The film premiered at NAB 2016 and is now online for all to see!
